Need a Player ("Need a Player", "we", "us") is a mobile app that helps people find and organise pickup, recurring and league football games. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to this policy.
When you sign up we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see or store your plain password.

If you grant location permission, the app uses your device's approximate location to show nearby games and sort them by distance. This is used on your device only — we do not store your personal location on our servers, and we do not track your location in the background.
We store the content you create and the actions you take in the app: games, teams and rosters, game applications and invitations, attendance responses, player ratings, and Man of the Match votes.
If you enable push notifications we store a push notification token for your device so we can deliver alerts. We and our service providers also process basic technical information needed to operate the app reliably.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed as described below.

Need a Player is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We protect your information with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, and optional biometric sign-in on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices regularly.
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, where our service providers operate. By using the app you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
